Nikka Costa rocks.................... plain & simple!

I've been a Nikka fan forever. Her voice is great and her tunes GROOVE! I just recently saw her at The Bowery Ballroom here in NYC, and she was awesome. Being a musician in the Tri-State area for 20 years, there aren't many vocalist I've worked with who come close to Nikka's pipes....My main instrument is Bass, but I play guitar, keys & cello. Went through the music program at SUNY Purchase, class of 91'. Currently in a pop-rock cover band, "WHOZ YA DADDY", working regularly on the weekends. I still play some weddings and corporate gigs, (that suck), but we all need to pay the bills......Hope to meet some real NIKKA fans, that wonder like I do, in this musical world of lipsynching and crap, why artists with great talent, like Nikka, can't find mainstream success. Groove on Y'all.....

did you happen to get the name of the girl who was taking the photos of nikka? she told me she was going to be sending them to her and her people, but i never got where she worked. she took some great shots and i'd love to see more of them.
