Thank you for posting!
I also clicked on the turquoise link: "We Are the World" , and saw the list of performers that was "made public" by the organizers. I scanned for her name. I wish she was mentioned! I hope she did make the cut and let her little light shine loud! It's a good cause and it makes me happy that Nikka was a part of it!

I just watched the video. I am so glad Nikka was part of it but I wish she had a lead cameo. Although it was created for a good cause and I will buy it to help the cause, the song needed Nikka more than Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne. They can't sing. I really wanted to be impressed by the song but I wasn't. I saw that Nikka in the background was really into it, swaying side to side and singing to be heard, but she was not given a real respect cuz she's not a "big" name in the biz'. Proof that "industry" sucks. It's about who you are verses who can sing. How sad to see untalented singers get a solo. I won't knock most who sang, but it is obvious to spot those who can't. I know most would say look past this and remember the reason for this to be made, but damn, I know that this song goes down in history like the last and could have used a little more planning. Aid has and will continue to be on it's way. My prayers are for Haiti and overall I am glad for this effort, but wish our girl Nikka got a spot to shine and donate real talent to the record!
Look, you can you see her here, under the words For Haiti:

Okay I agree that Nikka definitely should have had a lead..but I think they were smart to have those tweeny boppers sing. They have huge fan bases and a lot more records will get sold. Its not a matter of talent but marketing.
